So, recently I was being redirected to bogus antivirus sites whenever I would do a google search, but now that problem does not seem to be the case. However, bleepingcomputer.com seems to be blocked by some sort of virus, i am only accessing it through a proxy server right now. Internet Explorer was also causing problems, opening randomly to sites like netlist.com or running advertisement audio in the background.
I have since uninstalled Internet Explorer as well as Norton AntiVirus, which was being blocked from running. MalwareBytes was able to find a few trojans and remove them, but continued scans come up with a file called Rootkit.TDSS which i try to remove but seems to reappear. Could this be the cause of this problem?
