Ok I'm at my final straw. I have been dealing with this virus/Malware for over a week. I think I got rid of the Malware Defense virus, then I ended up having Trojan Vundo and Rootkit TDss. I have tried everything but It will not let my scans complete. I've tried DR.Cure it and it freezes in the middle. I am able to run Malware bytes if i do it the way it says to do it in the Malware Defense removal (download Rkill, download missing random name file, and run from there). I'm so frustrated. My computer constantly freezes in the middle of things. My next step is to take to Geek squad and shell out $200 if I can't do this. I really don't want to do that. Here are my logs...First the Mbam the the DDs

Hi,

Please read the instructions below and follow them in exactly the same way as described:
  • Start MalwareBytes and click the Update tab. There click "Check for updates"
  • Once the updates are downloaded, perform a quick scan again.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Do NOT post the log yet, but allow mbam to reboot.
  • After reboot, immediately rescan with malwarebytes, let it perform another scan, select to remove and reboot once again.
  • It's important that these steps are performed immediately after eachother (scan > select to remove > reboot > right after reboot, another scan > select to remove > reboot).
Then when done, post the LATEST malwarebytes log in your next reply. Only post that log AFTER the second reboot.

Hi,

It's better to scan one more time extra anyway. smile.gif

This looks OK again. How are things now?

The computer is running great now. Who would have thought that re-running mbam would fix the problem. I downloaded all kinds of stuff to take care of it and i just had to run and reboot. Thank you so much. If it continues to act up I will post again.

Glad I could help. smile.gif

Please read my Prevention page with lots of info and tips how to prevent this in the future.
And if you want to improve speed/system performance after malware removal, take a look here.
Extra note: Make sure your programs are up to date - because older versions may contain Security Leaks. To find out what programs need to be updated, please run the Secunia Software Inspector Scan.

Happy Surfing again!
