I have been sorting out a notebook with the same probs. I managed to get rid of Antivirusplus, but still have probs with google.
When I do a search, the list of possible pages are always legit pages, but when I try to go to any of them, I get redirected to other sites, sometimes other search engines such as Ask etc.

What I would like to know is, what is causing this?

I have scanned with several programs, all of which verify the notebook is clean.

I have checked the hosts, and used the microsoft Fixit utility.

I have checked the settings in google, and disabled all other installed accelerators etc.

I still have the problem..

anyone help please?
