Hello Forum

Anybody remember from the days just beyond Disco & Big Hair Bands B)

The Syquest SparQ 1.0 GB???

I just found a box with my old SparQ Drive & lots of cartridges - and I mean lots. I didn't know what happened to them, and now, presto - they appear.

I am sure, There are lots of items of important backups on them???

Can anyone help me figure out a way to get my machine with Win XP Pro SP3, to recognize it and make it work.

For maybe 8 - 10 years or so, maybe more? These have been in limbo, lying dormant, not even remembering their existence, but now that I found them, I need to know whats on them?

I'm sure you can understand? Right, Don't you feel my pain? B) This could drive me :) !!!

I have googled & looked and read & copied & pasted and I keep getting 'Old' forums of 4 years or so old, and they all seem to point to a file located at ftp://ftp.scmmicro.com/connectivity/drivers/Ephdw2k.zip

But that is not a valid site. Oh well.

What do my fellow forum members:

Does your computer have a parallel port?If you do not, you can get a parallel controller card
Hook it up and see what happens

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
