I am lillydog or rather my lilly dog is lillydog but I like her enough to steal her name for now.

I have had trouble with my wifi and my phone is connected to it which is how I came upon your site. I know I am not supposed to talk about my problem as part of my introduction but I thought it would be a good time to make sure I am on a site that might be useful to me and not waste your time.

My neighbor hacked into my wifi twice that I know for sure. His mother gave him the password and when I told him it was for her use only (hence the password) I encrypted it with WPA-PSK TKIP and dissallowed all computers except my own and hers with MAC addrsss and IP's which he then hacked. This was a few months ago. So now I do not know if he had hacked into the wifi again or not. I fixd it although I cannot get to the Linksys pages again.

I found your site because I was looking for what a "hacker" might leave behind (backdoor stuff) to get back in after the 3 weeks it took me to get it working!!

I am not very savvy with this stuff but very very paranoid/ So I do not know if this is the right site to help m check this stuff?

Even if it is not my computer is running very slow. I did not do the tests you suggest before starting with you as I was not sure you could be of help to me. I did not want to waste my time or yours. Don't get me wrong if you tell me what to look for I have nothing but time on my hands:)

Hi lillydog,

I am sure you can get help here for whatever computer problems you are having. Just make a post in the section you feel is appropriate, explain your problem in it, and before long someone should be along to help you solve it.
