Hi.
I`m running Win 7 64bit Ultimate.
After a virus my internet connection has been disabled.
the icon on taskbar has a red cross through it and says No connected, no connections are avaliable.
If I go to device manager, I get a message "no network controller drivers are installed"!
I know the connection is working as I`m running a dual boot, with XP and everything is working fine.

I`ve even bypassed the wireless and plugged the router straight into the back of my PC, and still no connection.

My PCI wirelss is a Belkin 802.11g network adapter.
How can I get the standard Win 7 dirvers back in as I have no internet connection on win 7 ?

Please help.

That is my problem.
Where do I get it from?
I was using the what came with Win 7 installation before all this happened.
The driver for the Belkin PCI wireless card dosnt seem to have a 64 bit driver on there site, but I know it works as I`ve been using it on WIn 7.

I cant connect to internet to get the updates.
Have tried unistalling, and then restarting PC, but it can`t find the required drivers.

Even with wireless bypassed, and modem plugged into PC I can`t get a connection.

Don't worry about wireless for now.
Go to your computer manufacturer site (using working computer), download and install network adapter driver.

Hi mate.
This is a dual boot, so I have xp working with internet on this PC.

When you say..
Don't worry about wireless for now.
Go to your computer manufacturer site (using working computer), download and install network adapter driver.

Do you mean go to ASUS site as my motherboard is a ASUS A8N-SLI SE ACPI BIOS Revision 0502
Drivers are NForce4 but I don`t know which type.

Click once on Summary
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under the line Debug - PCI

I can't see any network card listed.

Download System Information for Windows: http://www.gtopala.com/siw-download.html to your Desktop.
Get SIW Standalone (English-Only).
Double click on siw.exe to run the program.
Go File>Create Report File>HTML
Save the file to known location.
Zip the file, and attach it to your next reply.
