I followed step by step on the removal of that nasty virus, and it seems to be gone... but now I have no ip address, which means i cannot get back online ... I use broadband internet , i have it connected to a router with a wire. It's a wireless or wired router box... belkin...
Does anyone know how to fix this .. its been trying to aquire an ip address for some time now and nothing seems to be happening...

also, when i first opened up the computer after the reboot , it said i had memory loss , is this normal.

any help would be great , thanks

try this if it reoccurs.

Go to Start ... Run and type in cmd
A dos Window will appear.
Type in the dos window: netsh winsock reset
Click on the enter key.

Reboot your system to complete the process.
