A few months ago, my laptop started to lag while I was watching YouTube videos. It didn't do that before.

The internet I have is fast and the YouTube videos load all the way. It's just that when I click play, the frame of the video freezes and then starts up again but the sound is normal. ): It's not just YouTube..it happens with MegaVideo, Hulu, and other video sites.

Help, please?

Mozilla Firefox, most updated.
I tried Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome..laggy.
I'm not sure what kind of internet I have. I bought ClearWire and my internet is wireless. It's fast.

Decent.

Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

Intel® Pentium® M
processor 1600MHz
221 MHz, 512 MB of RAM

I copied the above exactly as it was showed.

37.2GB (size) / 16.8GB (free space)

Security program: avast!

How do I find out what kind of firewall I have?

Also, some online games I play have started to exit. Today, it started saying that I was low on virtual memory. :/

I apologize. Email notification must have missed me.

Well, another 512MB of RAM would surely help, if you play games.

Let's see, what's running on your computer...

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Save, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
Attach the file to your next reply.

I don't see anything unusual in Autoruns log.

Try to uninstall Flash, using this: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Install fresh copy.

Do you have any problems with playing regular video files (not from the internet)?

What GPU do you have? When I had this problem it was because my GPU was too slow.
Does your GPU use dedicated or shared memory?

No, I don't have any problems with playing regular video files. I tried increasing my page whatever and it helped but then the lag came back.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled Flash. Still laggy. ):

I don't know what a GPU is. ): What's dedicated/shared memory?
