Hello, my first post so thanks to all you gurus !
My Win XP computer has started "Searching for items..." (you can see this in the bottom left hand corner of the explorer window), several times a minute. Is this a malware, is it known and what do I do about it ?

I have McAfee security centre installed, and ran the "Hitman" program, but that did not solve it.

Many thanks for any help !
