Recently I noticed that the power indicater light is now red whne it was green before. I have unplugged and plugged back in,checked all connections, redone all wiring...Im at a loss.. Is this a ground issue or what ? Is this dangerous for my system?.. Everything seems to be working fine. Just the light is red instead of green like it used to be.

Sorry guys, and I knew you guys would need that too. What was I thinking..hehe..

It's a Motorola VT2542-VD

It's been working fine since Thanksgiving Day when my Brother in law gave it to us.
It says vonage on it and we do not use vonage but has worked with our cable hookup.

When you say the power LED, you're referring to the light on the far left, correct?
Is this cable or DSL? I read something on page 21 of the manual about a setting "Keep Alive"
