my desktop wallpaper changed to a warning about having spyware. i also get popups saying i have a virus named worm.win32.exe. i also noticed on my hijackthis log that there was an unknown program smss32.exe. my laptop hanged and i restarted it. then it showed the screen where you could choose how to run your pc (safemode or normal). when i pick something it loads and goes back to the screen to choose. i cant even boot my computer and get past the safemode options.
I have an acer aspire one netbook, so I don't have a cd to system restore it or reformat. :/

i hope my problem can be solved. thanks in advance.
