Hi,
When i open the in-box i don't see any indication that it is polling for messages. It Is only when i click on send/receive that i see anything. Is there a way that i can get it to poll for messages automatically when the in-box is first opened. It works that way in outlook express at least there it will say receiving MSG, no new MSG, etc. when first opened.?

Regards

In Outlook go to tools/options/send and receive. There put a check mark in the box beside "schedule an automatic send/receive every". Default is every 5 minutes but you can change this to a setting more suitable..

Also check the box directly above that which says "send messages immediately when connected".
