A couple days ago I stumbled upon the bleepingcomputer forums in a google search and signed up. I already knew that I have a computer infection. So I went to the section for posting logs to try and find some help. I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps in the read before posting thread..
My post was very detailed in my opinion. I've updated that thread once already with some info I forgot. But I need to update it again. I was looking closer at it today and I can't seem to find a edit button anywhere. I don't know how to do that. I even checked my profile where I've been checking my post. Last time I only added another post to the thread. But it looks like the contents got merged?
I'm also a little worried about it getting misplaced. I know the other thread asked for people who are asking for help to be patient because you all are very busy. I am really trying to be patient with myself but it is only making me more antsy. I'm not trying to make a pest out of myself. So if it bothers anyone I'm sorry. I just don't know if I should be worried or not.
My post is not the only one sinking down in the forums so quickly. An immediate assumption can be made from this: **It makes everyone look very shorthanded?** I've watched my thread go down four to eight pages a day. Is it going to get lost?
Anyway, no one has to answer that part of the post if they don't want to. I just wanted to know how to edit a post. I looked around in sub forums and there doesnt seem to be a appropriate place to post this topic. Or rather it doesn't belong anywhere else in the forums? I hope its ok if I post it here.
Oh and if there isnt a edit post feature this is some of the stuff I wanted to add to my post:
questbooster.com
spywarescan9999/OR/####<--four digit number.
comparedbyus.com
yoursearch.com
info.com
cyber security
perucoffee.com
Those are some of the websites that I noticed are repetitive and frequently get redirected on my computer. Could someone add the website detail to it if it is the case? I don't want to push my topic out of place.
Many thank yous from a simple worry wart.
