I've discovered that the exe is still hogging memory when my son is done listening to his tunes via itunes and exits. I've checked Task manager and 15 Megs of memory are still assigned to the app. The apple website is no help and only "owners" of apple products can send email.

Any recommendations short of deleting itunes alltogether.

I do not use iTunes, so this is just a guess
Is there still an iTunes icon in the system tray?
Right-click on it and close it

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
