The Airport on my iMac has two connection;

#1 TP-LINK - default and WEP password (don't know it) - don't want/need it

#2 my new wireless router I want default so I don't have to keep going into to Airport to change to this all the time.

Would be helpful if someone can me either remove #1 or get #2 default so I don't have to manually change to it all the time.

You can remove them from System Preferences > Network > Advanced button > Airport tab > Preferred Networks list.
