Hi guys. I finally broke down and asking for help. Usually im good with these things but I have thrown in the towel. Last night I had manged to clean the system from the tidserv using TDSSkiller. It was in atapi.sys. all went well. This morning i wake up and see Symantec telling me this error below.

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{04FD77E3-3678-44EF-8056-E41E103CC913}\RP1837\
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{04FD77E3-3678-44EF-8056-E41E103CC913}\RP1837\
Backdoor.Tidserv!inf
A0216109.sys

Thats just the bits cut and pasted. The original message cant be pulled. This is from the symantec log.

Hope you guys can help. i have combofix downloaded. I didnt want to jump the gun and be disrespectful. I will follow instructions as I get them.

Thanks again guys!

Cheers
Ken

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

You have a terrible rootkit infection and to properly clean your machine, tools specific to the HiJack This forum must be used.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<==

If you cannot produce the DDS logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.
