So I never tried Vista, so I wouldn't know if that does it too, but I noticed that the way text is displayed in windows 7 is different than windows XP. The text is bolder and easier to read. (thats good). But since the text is already bolder, bold text doesn't stand out as much in windows 7. Even so, I still like windows 7 text better. When I go back to windows xp on this computer, text looks too thin and weird. And I think to myself "THAT was how xp looked this whole time?".

Now that this has been settled, is there some kind of download for XP that will make text look like windows 7? Just asking. If it doesn't exist, its no big deal.

Hi TheEgg:

I'm not aware of such a download, but you can get other Win7 features in XP. Read through this article: http://lifehacker.com/5128992/make-your-xp...-like-windows-7

Good luck!
