Have XP Pro Media center edition with SP2. Running IE6. Several websites do not recognize that I have the latest version of Flash Player (10.0.42.34). I am at a loss as to what to do. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Any ideas? Thanks.

you have tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash player or windows?

You might try unstalling your flash and installing a slightly older version of it?

If that doesnt work, try installing Explorer7 or
Try Firefox, which you will have to download a flash plugin for.

I find some sites do not work right with explorer no matter what you do, and firefox may save you a lot of time and effort there. If Firefox works with the newest flash, but explorer doesn't, then I guess we all have something to think about.

You need to update your browser. Many sites, including Youtube, aren't supporting IE6 anymore.
