About 2 weeks ago, my computer got the Malware Defense problem. I download Malwarebytes and I had trouble getting the program started. I eventually looked up how to manually delete the problen and then managed to get Malwarebytes to start in Safe Mode and it managed to finish the Malware Defense problem.

Then my computer was fine for a couple day, but then I started to get the Google redirect problem where every time I clicked on a result of a google search it would redirect to another probably harmful page. I then tried to use Malwarebytes again but it didn't work even in Safe Mode and I couldn't even update Malwarebytes. I tried other spyware and malware program to delete them but for some reason even they wouldn't start up when i double-clicked on them.

I then searched on this forum and found some one who has a similar problem as me and the person said use combofix. So I tried doing the same thing and followed the suggested instruction to a T, but Combofix WOULD NOT START.

Then, today, I have a new problem. I'm get error messages from my computer tell me that Internet Explorer and Firefox have encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried to do a system restore but the computer WON'T let me confirm to do the restore even in safe mode. If I try click on don't send, it just shut down the browser and if I try ignoring it, the computer keeps popping more and more error message. In fact, as I am typing this there are about 25 error messages that I'm ignoring.

I need help fast please. Below is the log from my 1 successful scan from Malwarebyte... I thank you for your help

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review and take the steps necessary with you to get your machine back in working order clean and free of malware.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.
Use the 'Add Reply' and add the new log to this thread.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HERE
regards,
schrauber
