Hiya,

Need some help and direction. Running Win7 and got infected with Cutwail around 2 days ago. Ran SuperAntiSpyware in both normal mode as well as safe mode. Supposedly cleared it out. But did not happen so. Ran ComboFix in normal mode and it to supposedly made some changes. But IE8 still popping up and doing a disappearing/reappearing act. Ran MalwareBytes. Again in safe mode. Did some more cleaning. Finally downloaded VIPRE and ran a scan. It showed me 6 more infections. Did a clean. Ran ComboFix in safe mode. Came back clean. So...basically I have run SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes, Windows Malicious Removal Tool, VIPRE and ComboFix repeatedly within these last 2 days.

There is still "something" there that is not getting cleaned out. IE8 still pops open another browser and system has turned into super-crawl speed!!! Just moving between tabs is an event.

Have run and got HijackThis Log but will wait for advice before posting.

Thankz!!

Shaan
P.S....I know this is my 1st post and not a great way to introduce myself. But will do so in a bit. Need my system!!
