Of these which one will be the best

ATI Radeon HD 4550 512MB GDDR3

PNY Verto GeForce 8600 GT 256MB GDDR3

Zotac 9500 GT 1GB GDDR2

I have an AMD Phenom 8400 (2.1 GHZ) machine with 3 gb ram. Planning to do some light gaming like Spore and Counter strike source, and run the games at around 1280x 768 resolution. As I am running the games at a lower resolution, wont the ddr 3 be better?

I need to choose one of these 3 because the store is offering me a replacement for my current graphics card.

The DDR2 on the 9500GT kills it. The 64 bit mem bus on the 4550 nixes that as well.

8600GT with the DDR3 is the fastest on your list. The limited memory will limit your performance at higher resolutions/settings though, but at 1280X768 it should do fine.

Yeah, the 8600 GT it is!
Faster memory (DDR3) and higher memory bandwidth (128 Bit) helps.

I got the 8600GT, pretty happy with it. I can run Batman Arkham Asylum and Dirt 2 on high settings. Dont know if it will handle Mass effect 2 though. And also it does not run Saboteur that well.
