Hello...glad to be here. I'm a senior member among the ranks of the job-loss community (in the emergency extension phase of my unemployment), have a ve-e-ery low end computer which is my job search life-line, and I know absolutely ziltch about 99.9% of things having to do with computers. I can open emails and google, but that's about it...well, maybe a tiny bit more than that...I do online what a lot of us do online...live! I hope this admission will engender a little compassion rather than contempt. Naturally, I have a computer problem, like most people who join. But before I post it, I just want to say thank you to all the gifted and talented volunteers on this forum who help their clueless neighbors restore peace and sanity back to their computerworld. What you do is truly provide a service that makes "saving" our computers a possibility, rather than facing the options of spending an equal amount of money on computer/IT service like "GeekSquad" (if we could afford it) or buying a new computer (if we could afford it), or going to the local library. Thank you so much and Happy New Year!
