 Hi everyone. Obviously I'm new here. I'm from sunny, humid Florida, the hurricane state.

My objectives here: Wanting to learn 1. how not to screw up my computer :flowers: 2. how to fix it if I do. :) 3. how to not screw up my friends computer trying to debug it. :trumpet: 4. how to fix it if I do. :P :inlove:

I like to workout  at the gym, and now need to workout my computer learning skills and hope to do so here.

I have been able to help several friends with little problems, but I'm a little over my head with one. :)

Sorry about all the emoticons. I've never used them before and guess I went overboard. :)

 to BC! tryingtolearn.
I can see you like smilies. You already fit in! :flowers: Almost everyone here is addicted to the bountiful amount of smilies. :trumpet:
Also once you check out some tutorials on protecting your system, I'm sure you'll be able to fix your system. :inlove:

Good Luck,

Not EVERYONE here is addicted to smilies, LOL.
A good place to begin learning is to start with the tutorials which provide fundamental concepts and "how-to" information. For more specialised problems, or just to learn, consult the threads in the appropriate forum.
And if all else fails, so you avoid 1 and 3, but can do 2 and 4. don't hesitate to post about the problem so other members can help.
