Hi,
I am more than slightly computer illiterate, so when I started having trouble loading Google (it kept timing out), I began tearing my hair out in frustration trying to figure out how to fix the problem.

While trawling the net looking for any new ideas, I was so glad to stumble on a post by Dennis50 saying he was having the same trouble. That post lead me to this site, where I was able to follow his progress. Farbar is a genius in my books because he not only fixed Dennis50's problem, I was also able to fix my problem (what ever it was) by following the same instructions.

After saving BleepingComputer to my favourites and doing a little "happy dance" because I'm not quite as computer illiterate as I thought I was, I've set about recommending the site to all of my family and friends.

Keep up the good work everyone. You are indeed miracle workers.

Best wishes

Hi Weatherman,
Thanks for the welcome and the useful info links. My computer is back to what I assume is normal (touch wood) but it is very reassuring to know that I can get help quickly and easily.

Best wishes
