I have obviously downloaded something that I wasnt supposed to (I dont know what) and now when my computer starts it says something about there being a worm.win32.skynet and it is supposedly capable of sending out infected emails to my friends. I cant open my microsoft security center because it says the system is infected please run your anti virus. I have (AVG) and it detected several things and got rid of them but when I restarted my comp I still got the same message.

As no logs have been posted, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Am I Infected forum.

==>PLEASE DO NOT NOW POST LOGS<== unless a log is specifically requested.

Please describe the issues you are experiencing with your computer.

regards, Elise
