I am currently in college, and we have a firewall that blocks online gaming and the like. The question I have is if you do an ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew and then a dnsflush. You can then play online games. When you restart you have to do it over again. I really just want to know if anyone has an idea why that is getting a person through the network/what would cause this. Is there something wrong on the domain/firewall side?

Thank you for your time.
