Purchase Template: (Notebook)

My budget for the new computer is: 500 EUR/700 USD, but I'm not sure about the difference in prices (I'll probably buy the computer in Serbia)

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)?

Mail (MS Office Outlook 2007), Web browsing, using MS Word, Adobe and translation tools

What software do you intend on using on the computer?

MS Office Word 2003, Adobe Acrobat, Trados 7 Freelance, DejaVu, Microsoft Localization Studio, Idiom WorldServer, Wordfast, MS Office Outlook 2007, and possibly Kaspersky AV (I'm thinking of buying it)

Do you play games? If so, what type of games?

No. Well, maybe sometimes Farmville on Facebook  (but this should not be taken as a parameter, I can live without Farmville )

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it?

I use very many programs at the same time!!! This could be the most important factor - I need to be able to use many programs (sometimes all of the above mentioned) simultaneously without slowness, freezing etc.

Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer?

So, I need a laptop with at least 160 GB of space, capable of running multiple programs at the same time while maintaining a satisfactory level of speed and functionality, and, if it is relevant, fast web browsing (my internet speed is 1 gb, but I think that the actual speed does not reflect that number).

Any suggestions?

I'm not too sure about the availability of most models in Serbia.
If you could point to an online store or shopping site that you can make use of , I can recommend a good notebook.
