I'm here to help if I can; I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. However, chances are I know a little bit about your problem, and can be of service.

I've been working with computers for about 15 years. Back when IBM 386 and Macintosh II were rad. And people were still saying "rad" without being ironic. Currently I work for an evil giant nameless meat manufacturing corporation as their technical support adviser. Let's just say I'd rather not be, but unfortunately for me, evil pays the rent.

I've dabbled in programming with BASIC, VB, Java, Perl, HTML and CSS. I've upgraded hundreds of pieces of hardware, ghosted about 500 business machines, and destroyed countless keyboards (they make the frustration go away). Three years ago I discovered that I enjoy teaching, so I offer courses for beginners in Windows and the MS Office environment. I like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. I remember when modems were a separate piece of hardware. I enjoy using the open source community's software. Perfectly defragmented hard drives excite me (probably a support group for that). Also, I love scripting batch files to automate tasks. And coffee. Something about that ground-up organic matter mixed with hot water that makes me giddy... and awake.

All in all, I love to help people and solve problems and look forward to proving my usefulness here in this forum.
