My daughter was using limewire yesterday and forgot to turn it off when she was done. When I tried to use the computer this morning, every webpage on firefox pops up as c.ppcxml.net which was of course automatically blocked by firefox.

I scanned my computer with spybot search and destroy and McCafee, but came up with nothing.

Now I can't open up my homepage without being directed to c.ppcxml.net and having a second tab automatically pop up to a spam page.

What is going on? and how do I get rid of this?

Somebody help me please!
