Hello, I've been trying to find a way to fix my problem but I cannot find something similar to the problem I'm having. I downloaded a file nearly a month ago and I believe it was infected, I was notified that I was a threat was found, I believe by AVG. I do not remember what it said, all I remember was the string ' msagent .' I have found little information on it, and the information that I have come across does not act in the manner that I am seeing. My system only seems to be infected through Google searches; doing a Google search returns relevant results based upon what I entered. Upon clicking the link I am redirected to a random search page or a blank page with a URL that is similar most of the time. Using Blackle, I can do Google searches that do not redirect me. I am using Opera 10.10, and it seems to be the only browser infected at the moment. I am running Windows 7 RC Build 7100. Can anyone tell me what is going on or shed some light on my situation? Is a script being run or a trusted infected file that is running in the background?

I have the same problem, on firefox...I would try posting a topic in the Malware Removal section. I can't, for some odd reason but I would suggest you try there.
