hi, i am not very good with computers but have a nasty virus, i have run various things like malwarebytes, antimaleware pro, and the worst affected part seems to be the window registry. I cannot connect wirelessly anymore (is this connected?). I'm really stuck as to what to do, it's a pretty new laptop so i really have nothing saved, someone has mentioned 'format hardive', is that something i could do to start again. Windows 7 is what came installed.HELP!!!

and please if you do reply, bear in mind i am not that 'computer litterate'.

Many thanks
