Internet Explorer has stopped working

I am a strict user of Mozilla Firefox, and rarely, if ever, use IE. However, along with my other issue, I have begun receiving prompts that 'Internet Explorer has stopped working'
it then suggests to let Windows check online for a solution, or to close the program, and provides these details:

Not certain if this assists or is related to my other user interface program issue, so I`m putting up a different topic. Any assistance is appreciated.

Try resetting Internet Explorer settings, Open Control Panel > Internet
Options > Advanced (tab) > under " Reset Internet Explorer settings, click
"Reset".

Also if you have addons disable all then re-enable one by one to find out if it's an addon thats the problem.

Make sure your java is fully up to date as well, and turn off your java automatic updates !
