Unfortunately one of my msn contacts (who was infected by this trojan) sent me a attachment so i got the trojan immediately. I've been fighting with this Trojan for around 2 weeks now, today alone i've been fighting with it for 5 hours up to now - i've tried all sort of Malware removal programs i've also tried the ComboFix tool. Basically i've tried everything but nothing has removed the Trojan.

As a note i am experiencing the exact same issues as the user at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/273479/difficulties-with-the-svchostexe-trojan/.

Operating System is Windows Vista SP2 with all updates installed.

At the moment most of my programs have two exe files one looking like myprogram.exe and another looking like myprogram .exe. All the myprogram.exe files are 40KB (seems like 40KB is the size of the trojan or something?).

I've messed with the registry a lot in regards to the .delme file extension so i have made some progress. I've also located most of the files of this trojan, however i can't delete the files since they get recreated so there has to be one or more files/registry records that i have not located yet.

So i would really appreciate any help i can get because the Trojan is getting worse by the day it seems.

Yesterday i downloaded & installed the ESET Smart Security program, a couple of mins ago it seems it identified the Trojan, removed it and also restarted my computer.
At this stage i can say that the Trojan seems to have been removed successfully although i will allow until Monday to ensure that it will not re-appear.
