Hi gang!!! Just joined today and have an interesting little tidbit concerning the new Windows 7 64bit operating system and the latest version of the Yahoo Toolbar. THEY ARE NOT COMPATABLE!!!

I had noticed that when I signed into Internet Explorer using the 64bit mode the toolbar would not be there. As luck would have it the operating system does give me the option to sign in with 32bit and when I do the toolbar miraculously reappears.

I sent an email to the nice folks at Yahoo and they confirmed my suspicion that as of now they do not support 64bit anything.

So for all of you computer whizzes out there don't go nuts trying to figure out why your computer has suddenly taken a disliking to Yahoo. Just open the old fashion way in 32bit and you'll be ok.

OH BTW, does anybody know where I can download a sound in any format (I have the software to change it) that says printing started and printing complete?

Well, I hate toolbars anyway. It won't break my heart. But it's good to know for the future. Thanks.

As for the sound, our old desktop used to make that sound (not sure if it still does), so I'm sure somebody can record it for you and upload it to their Skydrive or something. I don't think that old computer had Stereo Mix (needed to record sound directly from the sound card), so I can't do it for you. :thumbup2:

By the way, welcome!

Well thank you for the warm welcome Mr. Ninja. I tried recording it myself then used some software that I've got to change it to the wave frrmat that the desktop wants but now that I've got the right format it wants me to compress it which is something I'm not equiped to do. The funny thing is that I can record and reformat and it will work fine on my Windows 7 laptop but not on my xp desktop.
