I'm new here so I would like to start off by saying hello to everyone and hope your new year is off to a good start. I have windows 2000 with service pack 4.I recently downloaded BROKEN SWORD 2.5 and attempted to load it to play. However, on loading the music started and began sounding like a scratched CD.At that an error message came up stating "bsengine.exe has generated an error and will shut down. A log is being created.Restart program." I ran SDfix,CHECKDISK,SYSTEM CARE registry fix, all to no avail. I then deleted the program(BROKEN SWORD) through the add/remove programs from the computer. I then redownloaded it and I still get the same error message.Anyone have any Ideas? Thanx.

Download it ti your Desktop. When you go to install it, make sure all unnecessary programs are shut down
AV, firewall, any thing that might possibly interfere
Maybe even try safe mode

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
