Ok, here is the deal.

While browsing some online videos I got attacked by trojan which allowed a rogue antivirus program called "Malware defence" to be downloaded and activated. Stupid me, I let it do most of the dirty work and it managed to install itself. Of course, I instantly started to look for ways to kick it out of my system. After cleaning it up (or so I think I did because it hasn't shown any signs since) I have started to have severe problems with both firefox and internet explorer. For example Firefox crashing multiple times in a short period, IE crashing without any malfunction notice (was using it to , programs losing their highlighted status (really irritating when you try to write).

When you get attacked by a trojan it usually ends up calling for its friends over too? Since the "MD" problem I've noticed "iexplorer.exe" running even though I never actually use Internet Explorer as a web browser. It had never done that before. I know that killing the system process doesn't hurt my computer so having tried that it of course starts itself again before a minute passes. I haven't found any trace of executable files under the name "iexplore.exe" in any incorrect folder. (IE version is 8 and there were some threads about this but they didn't seem to fit my problems)

My computer might be infested with all kinds of "cool" stuff because I don't use any antivirus program and only the Windows firewall (don't know about my net provider possible firewalls). Though, I'm always keeping an eye on system processes for suspicious processes. Malwarebytes hasn't found anything suspicious eighter. For some reason I haven't managed to get spybot S&D to working. I've ran HjT multiple times and looked through the log looking for hints but so far haven't found any. Here is the latest logfile:

I've been thinking of reinstalling everything to get things running smoother again. My registry is pretty messed up and there's a lot of stuff i don't need on my comp anyway. Still, I'm looking for a possible solution before I do that.
