Okay....I'm not exactly sure what happened...but I was surfing the web, and the next thing I know my computer is acting up. Internet explorer is running in the background, tea timer is not loading, spybot won't open, when I run my computer in safe mode and run MBAM my computer will freeze, system restore does nothing after I hit next, etc..

I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'm a broke college student, and I need my computer for classes, and this is the last thing I need.

If someone could help me out I would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks a million.

Hello,, Please do not force safe mode.
We need to disable teatimer for these. What antivirus is installed?

Please download Rkill by Grinler and save it to your desktop.Link 2
Link 3
Link 4
  • Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
  • If using Vista, right-click on it and Run As Administrator.
  • A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
  • If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
  • If it does not work, repeat the process and attempt to use one of the remaining links until the tool runs.
  • If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
You will need to run the application again if rebooting the computer occurs along the way.

Now quickly run MBAM.. you may need to try this a few times.

Back in the morning.
