I'm having major problems with a brand new (factory) desktop we just purchased from Best Buy. It is an HP Touchsmart 300 (all-in-one) desktop pc. It is only a few days old and has frozen up on us about 6 times. We are forced to shut-down the pc manually (w/power button), because I cannot pull up the task manager, CTR+ALT+DEL does not work, the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive, and there is a graphic frozen where the cursor/mouse is.

I am not sure if this is an HP problem or a problem with Win 7? It seems like it has always happened, when we are using the Internet (IE 8): and it occurs, when we are just doing normal 'surfing' or checking MSN or Yahoo emails; no hardcore downloading, gaming, or multi-tasking going on.

Would you be able to tell us where to go to find the issue? I would really appreciate your help. You guys (at BleepingComputer) were so great with us last year, when we had a maleware issue. Thanks again for your time.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit

Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 235e (2.7 GHz)
RAM installed: 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM
Hard drive: 500 GB
Graphics Processor / Vendor: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Shared video memory (UMA)

Key words brand new
It's under warranty. I'd take it back. Why mess it up
