Hey guys, my DVD drive has been acting really weird the past 3 weeks. It only reads certian discs!!

Example: It will read the MW2 disc. But it won't read the CoD4 disc! And today my bro bought The Sims 2 disc and once again it won't read it! Could the laser be dirty in my burner or something? It's weird how it won't read those discs. Help appreciated!

I also have done a system restore and I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled.

It is possible that it is dirty like you say, an inexpensive cleaning disc may do it plus they are good to have on hand.

I just think it's odd how it reads MW2 and not CoD4, when both discs are clean, where can I get a cleaning disc at?
