Hi, this is my second time posting here (I forgot my old username/pass) and I need help with a wireless problem (This is for my dad btw).

Problem: A few days ago, when my dad tried to load his computer it said something about a corrupt registry, and it wouldn't boot. I'm not sure how he got it to load, but after he got it to work again, a few things were not working properly. The main problem is his wireless. He can get windows to boot up perfectly now (windows xp btw), but his wireless seems completely dead; it can't see any available networks or anything. My dad is really smart with computers, and tried many things already such as system restore, wireless network repair, etc. I did a lot of searching on google but I couldn't find a solution. Is it common for the wireless on a computer being disabled after a registry corruption? Thanks, and sorry if you couldn't understand much of my problem. Just ask me if you need to clarify something. Thank you again
