Where do I input the network info?

I installed linux this morning and I cannot find where the NIC properties are so I can set up. I am using KDE for now. Any help ??

Sign in as root then type netconfig . It will be very simular to the properties tab in My Network Places in windows. Just plug in your info. This will also change darkstar to whatever your host name will be. At least it did for me.
