Microsoft Base Analizer
(All are up to date)

My conern is a trojan I deleted said on Google it would destroy my hard drive sectors. Im going away Aug 22 leaving & I feel bits of destruction is STILL left on my computer.
I would really appreciate if you can take a look at my HJT Log to see if theres anyone hijacking my computer, since the viruses I delted reminded me of being hijacked and so much malware on my computer. I do have SP 2 and Java Runtime V5.0 Udate 4, its enabled so im not sure how this happened.

I hope my GJT.Log can tell you if theres and harmfull malware.

Hello Lyn and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. After reviewing your log I see a few items that require our attention. Please print these directions and then proceed with the following steps in order.

Step #1

Download CCleaner and install it but do not run it yet.

Step #2

Start HijackThis and click the Scan button to perform a scan. Look for the following items and click in the checkbox in front of each item to select it:O2 - BHO: (no name) - {08329EF2-1C3B-4FBC-B285-C4BE1861541C} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
O16 - DPF: {EC51659D-721F-4CBF-9CEA-5E776D89CEA9} - http://www.pacimedia.com/install/pcs_0015.exe
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{448EBD2A-3D73-4EC0-BFA2-D40882CDF538}: NameServer = 69.50.184.86,195.225.176.110
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{44FBB619-E53D-49B0-B1A8-513BB5EBBE44}: NameServer = 69.50.184.86,195.225.176.110
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{B477CD21-9A4D-4539-9330-CE1C248E9261}: NameServer = 69.50.184.86,195.225.176.110
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\..\{448EBD2A-3D73-4EC0-BFA2-D40882CDF538}: NameServer = 69.50.184.86,195.225.176.110

Now close ALL open windows except HijackThis and click the Fix Checked button to finish the repair.

Step #3

Start CCleaner and click on the Run Cleaner button in the lower right-hand corner. When it is finished close CCleaner.

Step #4

Now run at least 2 of the following on-line virus scans:Bitdefender <<<Add a check by 'Autoclean'.
RAV <<<Add a check by 'Autoclean', leave everything else as is.
eTrust <<<'Cure' whatever is found, then delete if unsuccessful
Housecall <<<Put on 'Autoclean' and delete what it can't clean.
Panda ActiveScan <<<Accept default settings
If there are any files that cannot be automatically disinfected or quarantined then you will need to delete them manually.

Step #5

If you do not already have Ad-Aware SE 1.06 then follow these download and setup instructions: Ad-Aware SE Setup. Otherwise, just check for updates.

Start Ad-aware SE, click the Start button and choose Perform Full System Scan. Click the Next button and wait for the scan to complete. If anything was found, right-click on the list and choose Select All and remove all it finds.

Step #6

OK. Reboot your computer normally, start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Use the Add Reply button to post your new log file back here along with details of any problems you encountered performing the above steps and I will review it when it comes in.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.
