You need to install your video card drivers.

Usually they come with the computer, if its an onboard one.......maybe from dell or something. Go to control panel>System>click the hardware tab>click the device manager button

Find any marks with a question mark or explanation mark on them and tell us what they are.

Yes, double click video controller, click the drivers tab, and have it search for the drivers automatically. It should find install, and ask you to reboot your computer.

Then you can change your resolution.

then youll need to go to your sound card manufactuers site and download the drivers manully.

Download everest, it will give you complete system specs.
http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?pid=1&lang=en

Once downloaded and installed navigate to:
multimedia
then click PCI/PNP audio
It should list your card, write it down and put it here and ill try to find you some drivers.
