I'm 90 years young and have been associated with computers as a user and minor programmer for 20 years or so. Nothing like an expert. My current problem is that my Dell PC with Windows XP Pro has slowed way down on Startup and on Opening Screens. I've reduced the MSconfig Startup list to a minimum. I've checked for virus with McAfee, Malware Anti-Virus, and Spyzooka 2.5. They all say that I have no Virus. SpyBot just shows minor cookies to delete.
I wonder if I have set some protection program(s) to too high a level though it's hard to find just how they are set. Thought that I'd try to post a "HijackThis" log to see if it shows anything. How about that??? Johnny
