Hello :thumbsup:

I am new to this site. I am just trying it on for size. I would like to say, any site willing to help with PC problems sounds good to me. I have only been computing for a couple years and still have a lot to learn. My current obsession is with Spyware and Adware. I have been told I use too many of these programs, but I don't feel safe without them! I wish I could run the background protection of all programs at the same time, but they seem to crash (I've tried this).
My son is a computer geek and built me this computer. He is very computer savvy. He say's I know just enough to be dangerous. Since crashing one hard drive, I guess he is right!

Any Other Computer "Genius" Moms out there?

Aerodi :flowers:

Hello, Aerodi.
Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

.... My current obsession is with Spyware and Adware. I have been told I use too many of these programs, ....

In my opinion, there's no such thing as, too many.

I see you were trying to make your text red by using this tag:
In order for it to work, you have to close your tags.
It would look something like this:
[COLOR=red]Your text here.[/COLOR]
Which would give you this:
Your text here.

We use what's called BB Code.
Here's a link to a good thread, that explains how to use it:
BBCode Help, Choosing font, size,& color etc.

Hope this helps you.

To some it may be an obsession, to others it is just being careful and cautious.
