Hi,

When restoring the system I pick the latest restore point and everything
appears OK. I get the message that restore was successful and computer will
restart. After the restart an alert telling that restore was not carried out
because of an unspecified error pops up???
Any ideas on basis of this vague description?
PC = Vista home premium SP2, 32 bit, 4Gb ram.

Thank You,
Martti

P.S. Happy 2010

hi,,, this seems to work most of the time,,, switch off your realtime security and try again,,, right click on the icon for your a/v near the clock and turn off,,, norton is a right bugger for stopping restores,,,,,
good luck.
ps,,, happy new year to you too

Great Figgis,

I have Norton installed - so probably it is the culprit.
