If you have discovered that Dell has been pre-installing MyWay Search Assistant, software that tracks internet usage (and who knows what else!) on all Dell pc's manufactured since Nov 2004 and can't seem to remove it completely, don't despair. Dell has finally released instructions for removing this memory-hogging nuisance from your Dell pc. Their user software forum published it in the last couple of days:

I did all the steps tonight and my five SVCHOST.EXE entries in Task Manager more than halved their memory consumption!! They fail to mention that there is also an ActiveX control that needs to be disabled in the usual manner, via Tools, Internet Options, Manage Add-Ons.

My PC is surfing much faster now!! For awhile Dell techs were telling people who called tech support for these instructions that it would cost them $50!!! Guess they were either inundated with requests or someone threatened legal action!!!

A forum moderator may eventually want to add these removal steps to the Spyware Self-Help forum as I didn't think anyone but mods could post there.
