I bought a set of Corsair dual channel memory from Newegg.

HERE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820145260

Each module reads Corsair 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ 9-9-9-24. Does that mean I should be getting 8GB of DDR3 memory? I am only getting 4GB right now. Currently Im running the memory on an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO Motherboard. I have both memory modules installed in the same color DIMMS. If im supposed to be getting 8GB how exactly should I go about manipulating the modules to run at 8GB instead of 4GB. Also, in order to run the memory in dual channel mode should I plug both memory modules in the same color or have one module in one color and another module in another.

MY SETUP:

Black 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ
Black 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ
Blue(Empty)
Blue(Empty)

Would this setup run the memory in dual channel mode or is the one above correct for dual channel operation?

DUAL CHANNEL:

Black 4GB (2X2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ
Black(Empty)
Blue 4GB(2X2GB) DDR3 1600MHZ
Blue(Empty)
