Found this area using Google; ran into a hijacking of sorts at home that I thought I eliminated using AVG and Malwarebytes. NOPE
I *think* it was caused by a pirates bay tool bar

eradicated that and all refernces in the registry

seems ok now...and deleted system volume info

we'll see

If the problem returns or persists, post in the Am I Infected? Forum with as much information about what is happening as you can provide. Malware is often more difficult to eradicate than one might imagine, and even though you think you have destroyed it, some remnants may remain to harm your computer.
