My cpu usage higher than 24% but lower than 50%
And Im not sure why this happening.

My avgwdsvc.exe run between 28% and 40%.
My csrss.exe run between 07 and 18% at now.

I have no idea why because it didnt happening before but after my brother playing last night, it happening now.

My avg was 9.0 Internet security and i know what is csrss.exe (Client server runtime server subsystem).

But I just don't understand why the avgwssvc.exe and csrss.exe running at high usage.

My os is XP sp2 pro, and im sure my computer didnt inflected except when my brother using. And im using alienware, but it didnt high like this, because i already disable it.

And Im a ro server admin, i need to turn on my server today, but now this happening to me, what the hell?

Any solution ?? Hope someone will help me, I'll wait.

Sorry for my bad english, im a 14 years old kid.

Welcome to Bleeping Computer, Mate.

When AVG Free 9.0 is running it does use a bit, but no where like other AV Programs.

It sounds not like an accessive amount of use to me?

I am on a very small Machine now, it has AVG Free 8.5 fitted, below is a Screenshot of it running AVG? The low point was before I started it up? The Machine only has 510M usable RAM?

No, it never happen before.
It started today, which mean after last night my brother playing.

I have no idea how to do now, i need to run my server, just because i need to run my server with lag free, so i worried about the cpu usage.(If high usage, that mean my players will receive lag.)

So anyone know what's going on?

Edit :And now the infocard.exe started up!! It never run before, I going mad already!!
Why everythings suddenly comes up???

Here's the screenshot :

<<My os is XP sp2 pro, and im sure my computer didnt inflected except...>>

The prudent thing to do, IMO, would be to run several online scans for AV analysis/detection...and then download/install/update Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware.

FWIW: Any system that does not have SP3 installed, along with all subsequent updates, cannot be considered to be protected against known vulnerabilities in Windows XP.

44 processes is not a lot, cpu usage all depends on your system. After cleaning your system with the programs hamluis has posted; IMHO I would install sp3, reboot and defrag. Sp3 has lots of security updates I think one should have. SP-3 is long and will take awhile depending on your internet speed. Go have a cold one.
p/s I have 39 progess going while on line at this time at one percent usage. Wright down what you have now. Do the things suggested and check again and see if it helps. Please let us know. To the best of my knowledge SP-3 has never hurt a computer.

Sorry for bumping the thread but I thought it would be better than making a new thread. Earlier I noticed infocard running in the background, what exactly is it. It's the first time I've ever seen it an I worry when I see something new that I don't remember adding.
